During General Conference weekend, the Church History Library will be hosting an open house displaying the library’s Treasure of Collections. Come enjoy a rare and unique display of historical items from the archives of the Church History Library. View seldom seen historic books, photographs, manuscripts, journals and minutes relating to the history of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. This display will be open for visitors on Friday, April 2 from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. and Saturday, April 3 from 12:00 p.m. to 2 p.m. and again from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m.
This will be an enjoyable way to pass the time in between sessions or learn about the history of the Church if this is your first visit to Temple Square. The Church History Library is such a wonderful resource, and if you haven’t yet been to it, the “Treasures of the Collection” open house would be a great introduction.
The Church History Library is located at 15 East North Temple, Salt Lake City, Utah. You can find out more information at www.churchhistorylibrary.org.
